Welcome to The Garden Atelier - my creative sanctuary - tucked inside DeStressy.
This is where art grows wild, vintage buttons & broken jewelry bloom into art and find new purpose. Some days I'm painting or making jewelry. Other days, I'm outside in the garden or sharing from my A.I.M. class that helps others heal through creativity. It all belongs here - because this space reflects real life, real growth, and real beauty.
It's spring here in the Pacific Northwest, where the weather can shift from rain to sunshine in the same afternoon. Last winter, I prepared the garden beds, and this season I've been busy building a chicken coop - one project at a time, just like everything else around here.
Inside the studio, AIM workshops are continuing to grow. Recently, we explored neurographic drawing, a creative exercise that helps the brain slow down, make new connections, and practice flexibility (especially good for ADHD and perfectionism). It's simple, hands-on, and surprisingly powerful. Here's an example from a recent session so you can see what the process looks like.
Celebrate your love story with a truly one-of-a-kind keepsake - custom wedding art handcrafted with vintage buttons, rescued rhinestones, and heirloom pieces that hold deep meaning. Each piece is designed on canvas and carefully arranged to reflect your unique style and story.
Many brides choose to include sentimental items, such as grandma's sapphire earrings, a cherished brooch, buttons from moms wedding dress, or jewelry passed down through generations. I also incorporate vintage rhinestones and pearls I've lovingly rescued from antique wedding dreses and elegant evening gowns, giving new life to forgotten beauty.
Canvas sizes available: 8x10, 11x14, and 12x16 larger sizes upon request.
Whether you're honoring someone special, designing your bouquet in art form, or preserving your wedding day sparkle, I'd be honored to create something just for you. Contact me directly to begin your custom piece.
